On Thursday (6 February), the coalition councils defined the possibilities of cooperation so that even the non -attached parliamentarians around Rudolf Huliak supported the government. This was stated by the Minister of Investment and Vice-Chairman of the Coalition Voice-SD Richard Raši. The result should be a signature of the agreement between the coalition parties and the Huliak. Raši did not talk about specific exchanges in the resorts. According to him, the priority is to achieve a sufficient number of deputies for the government to work.
“We have defined the possibilities of cooperation so that the deputies around Huliak, who are four, continue to support the government coalition and government of the Slovak Republic. We exchanged opinions, attitudes, we told ourselves where we could meet and expect it to meet it and that it also Huliak and his colleagues will discuss and the result will be a signature of the agreement with the coalition parties to continue to support the government, “Raši told journalists during the trip in Fiľakov. According to him, it can be a matter of the coming days, but also a longer period.
According to Raši, answers are currently waiting. “It is important for the functioning of the government not only to have a close 76, but to return to the original support number, ie 79 to rule more comfortably,” he said, adding that 76 deputies are crucial to be negotiated in parliament.
Raši did not catch the question of which of the ministers should leave his post. “The ministers’ nomination is fully in the responsibility of coalition partners, nothing has changed,” he added. Huliak should have interviews about the Ministry’s profit with the CIS, as this is the party he ran for, Raši thinks. “It is by agreement, but the agreement must primarily direct the CIS partners, even as far as ministries are concerned,” he added.
According to Raši, they may proceed to the election of the President of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic after they agree on the coalition on nominations and other personnel elections. This is the election of members of the STVR Council, the Media Council, a member of the Board of Directors of the TASR, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Memory of the Nation or candidate for the Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic. Raši remains the nominee of Voice-SD for the post of President of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
