The Brazilian trade scale recorded surplus US $ 2.2 billion in January 2025. The result represents a 65.1% drop compared to the same month of 2024, when the positive balance was US $ 6.2 billion.

Commercial surplus occurs when exports exceed imports.

The data were released on Friday (7.FEV.2025) by the Secretariat of Foreign Trade of (Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services). This is the presentation (PDF – 3 MB).
