US President stated on his profile on Truth Social that he will sign a decree against Biden’s “ridiculous” measure
United States President Donald Trump (Republican) said on Friday (7.FEV.2025) that he will sign a decree next week to revoke Joe Biden’s plan (Democrat) to end the use of disposable plastic items in Federal organizations until 2035.
The Republican classified the measure as “Ridiculous” and ineffective. “Back to Plastic”said Trump on his profile at Truth Social.
The Biden era announcement was motivated by demonstrations of environmentalists who led establishments to exchange plastic straws for similar paper to help consumers reduce their “Ecological Footprint” –Is personal impact for the environment. Some states and democratic jurisdictions have also passed laws forbidding or completely disagreeing with single use plastics.
