United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he will create a Faith Office in the White House and ask the Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to lead a task force with the aim of ending what he called bias anti -Christian in the federal government.

Trump made comments at a national prayer breakfast in the Capitol, using his speech to ask for “unity,” telling parliamentarians that his relationship with religion changed after two murder attempts that occurred last year.

In a second event, in Washington, Trump set a more party tone, singing victory for “getting rid of the Woke in the last two weeks,” announcing measures to protect Christians than he considers to be religious discrimination.

“The mission of this task force is immediately to stop all forms of attacks and discrimination against Christians in the federal government, including the Justice Department, which was absolutely terrible, the IRS, the FBI and other agencies,” he said.

The US President said he should sign a decree on Thursday for Bondi to lead the task force, and promised that the Attorney General will work to “fully investigate anti-Christian violence and vandalism in our society and move skies and land to defend the rights of Christians and believers across the country. ”

The president did not cite examples of anti -Christian bias during his comments, but has previously said that the Biden government used power to pursue the religious group.

In December, the Biden Government announced a strategy to combat anti -mulch and anti -Arab rhetoric, and a similar plan to combat anti -Semitism in 2023.

The actions announced on Thursday can bring constitutional issues about the separation between church and state, as the first amendment of the US Constitution limits government endorsement to religions.

Trump, who became the actual commander of conservative American Christianity, has repeatedly said that he has received a religious anointing since surviving an attempted murder last year.

“Many people told me that God spared my life for a reason,” he told supporters at events across the country.

In the last three electoral cycles, white evangelical voters, who form a large part of the republican base, supported the president. His message of male power has fallen well to flatten the growing anxiety of conservative Christians regarding the change of gender norms and family standards.

This Thursday, he also announced that the Cabinet of Faith in the White House will be led by the overdue Paula White, who has been his religious counselor for many years.
