The winners of Critics Choice Awards 2025 were announced at a ceremony held in Los Angelesin the United States, on Friday night (8).
The most awarded night were the movie “Emilia Pérez”which won three awards. The series “Xogum: the glorious saga of Japan”, with four, and “Hacks”also with three.
While some movies and series stood out, productions such as “Gladiator II” and “Nickel Boys” returned home to home. See below for the Snown of Critics Choice Awards 2025.
“Gladiator 2”
Starring Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington, the film was nominated for Best supporting actor, better production design, best costumes and best visual effectsbut lost in all categories.
“Sing Sing”
Of the four categories that competed, the production did not take any prize home. The series competes Best movie, best actor, best supporting actor, best cast and best adapted script.
“Nickel Boys”
With five nominations, the series left the ceremony with empty hands. Production competes in Best movie, best supporting actress, best director, best adapted script and best photography.
A 30th Critics Choice Awards ceremony took place this Friday (7) and had the presentation of the actress, comedian and TV presenter Chelsea tradesresponsible for conducting the event for the third consecutive time.
Initially, the award was scheduled to take place and January 12 and two postponements were held after the California fires, which hit Los Angeles County, the most populous in the United States and spread rapidly due to dry weather and strong winds.
The biggest nominees of the edition were “Conclave” e “Wicked”with 11 indications each.
However, “Wicked” has only gained three of eleven categories in which he competed and “Conclave”, two.
Already the Brazilian film, but was beaten by “Emilia Pérez”.
The ceremony also recognized the best works on television and, among the nominees, stood out the Brazilian series “Senna”, but lost to “Round 6”.
