Collaborations can be made until February 26, through the platform Participate + Brazilwhich can be accessed at the address: www.gov.br/participamaisbrasil/parc. The suggestions will be considered in the first cycle of the Regulatory and Competitive Assessment Procedure (PARC).
PARC was instituted at the end of 2024 and has been in force since the beginning of this year. The objective is to become an instrument of evaluation of infralegal norms that discipline issues of regulatory and competitive nature in Brazil. The program may change or even exclude standards that may cause competitive distortion or have anti -specific character.
There is a forecast of semiannual public consultations in the program. Those interested in participating need to answer a questionnaire on the platform Participate + Brazilinforming the normative instrument to be analyzed, the body in which it was edited, the history of regulation, the impact analyzes made, the existing markets, the impacted products or services, among other questions.
The public call also requests a copy of the regulatory impact analysis of the normative act, a detail of the negative effects of the norm and, when possible, the demonstration of the economic impact
The SRE will disclose the rules that will be analyzed in Parc after the public call is closed within 15 business days. Selection will consider the relevance and public interest of the economic sectors, the potential competition impact measured and the existence of competitive impact analysis made by the body responsible for editing the act before its edition.
