Homemade kebab in a roll. A delicious idea for a dinner or a party dish

Fast foods do not have to be unhealthy. Just instead of ordering or buying such treats in the city, you will make them in your own kitchen. Good quality meat, a decent portion of vegetables, sauce based on Greek yogurt, instead of mayonnaise and it’s ready. Below you will find our proposal home kebab With delicious soft, well -seasoned and aromatic chicken meat.

Before you start cooking, prepare the following ingredients:

  • 600 g of chicken fillets (or bone without bone),
  • 20 ml of oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of Provencal herbs,
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper,
  • a bit of curry to taste,
  • half a teaspoon of salt,
  • half a teaspoon of black pepper,
  • a few sticks for skewers,
  • 1 onion.

Additions:

  • Kebab roll, baguette or a large hot dog roll,
  • 1 Chinese cabbage (or freely chosen lettuce),
  • several pieces of marinated pepper,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 green cucumber.

Sos:

  • 160 g of Greek yogurt,
  • 3 cloves of garlic,
  • half a teaspoon of sugar,
  • half a teaspoon of lemon juice,
  • A bit of salt
  • A bit of pepper.

In a bowl, mix olive oil, Provence herbs, ground pepper, curry, salt and pepper. Break the meat well with a pestle. Put them in the prepared marinade and rub thoroughly on each side. Put the prepared meat in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Cut the peeled onion in half. Insert the skewers to the lower part vertically. Place pieces of meat on them, pressing well. It can protrude beyond the onion. When all the meat is packed, stick the onion on top. Cover the whole gently with aluminum foil. Place in an ovenproof dish, spray with oil optionally. Put in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for about 40-50 minutes.

Prepare add -ons during this time. Wash the cabbage or lettuce thoroughly. Cut into thin strips. Drain the paprika from the pickle and cut into thin strips. Peel the onion and chop finely. Wash the cucumber and divide it into semi -slices.

Make a garlic sauce. Peel the garlic cloves and squeeze through the press or grate on a small grater. Add Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper to the bowl. Mix thoroughly

Cut the meat after baking with a sharp knife. Prepare a roll. Brush it on each side with sauce, then put the cabbage and meat, cover with additions. Pour the whole with a little sauce.
