Shortly before the handover to Donald Trump, Joe Biden’s old US administration was still trying to put plants in the Balkans to limit the Russian influence. In the case of Serbia, the closest regional partner of the ruler in the Kremlin, the United States has set a deadline until February 25: 45 days – until then Russian companies should withdraw from the Serbian oil industry, otherwise the Serbian state oil industry will be with US -S sanctions. It is estimated that a possible buyer of the Russian share would have to pay between 700 million and 1.5 billion euros.
