At least six people were killed and another 27 were injured due to a bus overthrow in the province of Kirman in southeastern Iran.
The crash occurred in the afternoon when a bus, which was on board a high school students, overturned on a provincial road connecting the cities of Machan and Kerman, said Mohamad Saberi, head of local rescue services. The injured have been taken to hospitals in the area and two of them are in critical condition, he added.
The IRNA news agency reports that authorities are likely to lose control of the vehicle because they “broke the brakes”, but the final finding is expected to be announced in the coming days.
