Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) authorized military Sérgio Rocha Cordeiro, former advisor to Jair Bolsonaro (PL), to appear in the events linked to his son’s graduation.
“The provisional character of this decision is emphasized, which does not dispense with the applicant from compliance with the other precautionary measures imposed on him,” wrote Moraes.
He is arrested and indicted.
Authorization allows travel between 19 and 21 February. During this period it should be monitored by the Federal District Penitentiary Administration Secretariat, which will have to send to the STF a report of electronic monitoring within 48 after the end of the last event.
Sérgio Rocha Cordeiro has been a reserve captain and has been acting as a special advisor to the presidency since the beginning of the Bolsonaro government. He arrived at the Planalto Palace after acting at Bolsonaro’s office in the House of Representatives.
His position was the highest in the executive advice: he received more than $ 16,000 per month.
