According to the dean will be used the ENEM grades, however, adherence to its own selection system will occur to maintain the regional bonus, which encourages students from the state and neighboring cities to enter a university course. Guida Aquino explains that a new system, more powerful, is already being studied.

“The proposition is to take the University Council so that all Ufac courses leave Sisu and stay in our system, however, I need to see with the entire team of our information technology core the viability of this system, because they are 48 Courses, so we need to have a much more robust system and then take the council so that the board can approve and we can maintain the bonus in all undergraduate courses at the Federal University of Acre, ”he said.

UFAC’s regional bonus, adopted in 2018, provides an increase of 15% in the final grade of the National High School Exam (Enem) for candidates for a vacancy at the Federal University of Acre (Ufac), who live or study in the state.

The measure was overthrown in April 2024 by the Federal Court. The decision of federal judge Marllon Sousa, of the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region (TRF1), granted anticipation of guardianship to a student who filed a lawsuit to question the bonus in several federal units across the country. At the time of the decision, UFAC also had to elaborate new classification lists, without the addition of the bonus in the grades of the candidates.
