This change aims to increase school parade time, which will go from 60-70 minutes to 70-80 minutes. In addition, the three -night division will allow all schools to parade at night, better enjoying the bright effects of the Sapucaí sambadrome, which are harmed when the day has already dawned.
The new organization of the parades also aims to increase the public capacity in the sambadrome. With the inclusion of another night, it is expected that another 80,000 people can watch the parades, which represents a significant increase in ticket sales.
