The process with police ex -president Peter Kovařík is scheduled for Friday (14 2.) at the Bratislava I City Court. This stems from a schedule of a hearing published on the website of the Ministry of Justice. Several witnesses should be heard.
Peter Kovařík said in the past that The indictment is built on “wishes and wanting” and not what the file contains. According to him, there were also the basic acts he demanded throughout the proceedings.
The prosecutor filed an indictment to Petr Kovařík for a crime abuse of public authority in conjunction with the crime of obstructing justice. The former police president was accused in August 2021. It is suspected of thwarting the ongoing intervention of detention, as well as the implementation of criminal processes with persons Matej Z. and Peter P.
