Taliban formally ask the US to return seven Black Hawk helicopters

Cabul thus asks the United States to facilitate the return of helicopters in respect for the Afghan people

The Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan formally urged the United States to return seven Black Hawk military helicopters that were sent to Uzbekistan during the Taliban power seizure in August 2021.

The ministry argues that aircraft belonging to the Afghan state is concerned and that “its legitimate place is in Afghanistan.”

“The Afghan people have the sovereign right to defend their country and should have access to their military resources,” the ministry said, which he considers “unacceptable” the transfer of helicopters to the United States, according to Afghan Bajtar news agency.

Cabul thus asks the United States to facilitate the return of helicopters in respect for the Afghan people.

Afghanistan thus reacts to the recent announcement of Uzbekistan from which he delivered seven US-fabric Black Hawk helicopters to the United States.

The old Afghan authorities had sent the helicopters to Tashkent to the advancement of the Taliban over Cabul.
