United States President Donald Trump revoked Antony Blinken’s security authorizations, former US Secretary of State, and Jake Sullivan, former national security advisor, White House officials said on Saturday (8).

The measure occurred a day after Trump said that there was, interrupting access to daily intelligence briefings.

Trump also revoked the security authorizations of Biden’s Deputy Attorney General, Lisa Monaco, who helped coordinate the Justice Department response to the attacks of January 6, 2021 by Trump supporters in the US capitol, authorities said in Saturday.

Trump would also have removed the authorizations of the New York Attorney General, Letitia James, and the Manhattan District Prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, both of which led cases against Trump, according to the authorities.

Former US presidents traditionally receive intelligence briefings so that they can advise acting presidents on national security and foreign policy.

In 2021, he was then a former president.

Blinken could not be immediately contacted to comment.
