Zamiokulkas will grow like yeast. Just a little salt

Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulfate, is a chemical sulfur and oxygen. Magnesium is an indispensable component of chlorophyll, i.e. the green dye responsible for photosynthesis. Thanks to it, plants can effectively use light for energy production. Sulfur, however, participates in the production of proteins and enzymes that support a healthy growth.

Zamiokulkas is a plant that grows in natural conditions on soils poor in nutrients. Therefore, he can often suffer from magnesium deficiency, which is manifested by healing of growth and the leaves of the leaves. Regular use of Epsom salt can help maintain juicy green leaves and stimulate the plant to grow more intensively.

Homemade fertilizer based on Epsom salt is extremely easy to prepare. To create a conditioner, just:

  • 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt,
  • 2 liters of water.

Just mix the salt well in the water until it is completely dissolved. The solution prepared in this way can be used as a foliar fertilizer or watering the soil in a pot. Do not exaggerate with quantity, because excess salt can harm Zamiokulkas – once a month is enough.

The solution can also be used as especially if we notice that the leaves are starting to fade or yellow. We spray them once every two weeks, preferably in the morning or evening to avoid sunburn.

Regular fertilization of Zamiokulkasa with the Epsom salt solution will make the leaves more green, juicy, shiny, and the plant will grow faster and will spend more new shoots. This fertilizer strengthens the structure of leaves and stems, protecting the plant against pests and diseases. Magnesium helps regulate the absorption of nutrients and water, so it’s harder to dry the ground.

Although Epsom salt is a very effective and safe fertilizer, its excess can lead to the accumulation of salt in the soil. This, in turn, will block the absorption of other important nutrients.

In addition to Epsom salt, there are also other natural fertilizers that can support the development of Zamiokulkas. They are containing nitrogen, calcium -rich egg shells and water after cooking vegetables providing valuable minerals.
