A reliable recipe for curry with chicken. It will warm up and saturate

The name of this dish comes from the word “khari” from the South Indian Tamil language, literally meaning the sauce. Indian curry with chicken is a creamy, dry, somewhat spicy dishwhich will bring you closer to the oriental nooks of the world. The whole is incredibly fast and easy to prepare. Serve with freshly cooked rice or naan bread.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g chicken breasts,
  • 400 g of canned tomatoes,
  • 200 ml of natural yogurt,
  • onion,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • a spoon of oil,
  • 2 teaspoons of ginger,
  • a teaspoon of curry,
  • a teaspoon of cumin,
  • teaspoon of turmeric,
  • a teaspoon of coriander,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper.

Additionally:

  • fresh coriander to serve

Method of performance:

1) Wash the meat, dry and cut into cubes about 2-3 cm.

2) Combine all spices together in a small bowl. Put half of them, and mix the other half with oil. Rub with chicken marinade and set it off for about an hour.

3) After this time, heat the pan and fry the meat until nice browning. Remove the chicken from the pan, leaving fat.

4) Finely cut the onion and fry in a pan for 5-6 minutes, until tender. Add finely chopped garlic. Fry the whole for the next 2 minutes. Add the remaining mixture of spices. Mix the whole and fry for about 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and cook everything for about 10 minutes on low heat.

5) Transfer the sauce to the blender and mix everything to a fairly uniform sauce, depending on individual needs. Transfer him back to the pan.

6) Pour natural yogurt and mix well.

7) Add chicken and bring the sauce to a boil, stirring constantly.

8) Serve curry with chicken, with the addition of rice, sprinkled with chopped coriander.
