The oil storage tank in Ulsan, South Korea, was caught by flames on Monday after the explosion. One person died in the incident and took one with injuries to the hospital, Informs TASR according to Korea Joongang Daily and YNA reports.
According to firefighters, the explosion occurred at 11.15 am local time (03.15 CET) in the United Terminal Korea. There were two people around the reservoir. The reigning President of the CCU Sang-Mok ordered the components to make every effort to quench the fire.
According to Korea Joongang Daily, the authorities deployed 40 fire trucks and 93 firefighters. The fire managed to quench at 14.13 local time (06.13 h).
