The casserole with chicken and potatoes is an easy and quick to prepare dinner dish with a creamy wine-cream sauce. The whole is extremely dry and aromatic, and the meat is perfectly toasted and melting in the mouth. The icing is the cheese on top of the casserole.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg of chicken legs,
- 700 g of potatoes,
- 2 large shallots,
- 4 cloves of garlic,
- 150 g of yellow cheese,
- 200 ml of cream 36%,
- 100 ml of white wine,
- ½ teaspoon salt,
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper,
- 1 teaspoon of smoked peppers,
- ½ teaspoon of granulated garlic,
- ½ teaspoon granulated onion.
Additionally:
- parsley to sprinkle.
Peel the potatoes and the larger pieces are separated in half or quarters. Cook them in salted water until soft for about 15 minutes. Strain and set aside.
Wash and dry the chicken. Rub it with salt and pepper, as well as other spices: smoked peppers, garlic, onion. Then place in a large heat -resistant dish.
Finely chop the shallot and garlic. Add them together with ready -made potatoes, laying around the meat.
In a bowl, mix the cream with white wine and pour the sauce on the ingredients.
Cover the dish with cling film and bake in an oven preheated for 220 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes, and then remove the cover and continue baking for another 25-35 minutes, depending on the size of meat pieces.
10 minutes before the end, sprinkle with grated cheese.
Remove the casserole with chicken and potatoes and set aside about 10 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Store the remains in the fridge and use within 2 days.
