Individual actors from industry and business are responsible for the current political situation in the country. Although they are not our chosen representatives, they still have enormous influence on the entire political events. We have increasingly encountered these bosses of associations and bundle recently. In newspaper interviews and television formats, you can explain what goes wrong in the state based on the development of uniform and non-wage increment costs. They run past cameras on the way to coalition negotiations. How do you feel their perspectives, which basically arise from a separation of the spheres of economy and politics? Is an economically guided view of politics an opportunity for renewal, in the sense of a pragmatic and ideology -free access? Or is it, as a fixation, a danger to democratic conditions in Austria because the people involved believe that they can manage risks by means of “package insert”?
