The state deputy Marina Helou (network) He entered with representation in the Public Prosecution Service for a “correct implementation of the law” that prohibits cell phones in the schools of São Paulo. According to her, the teaching networks and colleges of the state that are allowing students to leave the devices in backpacks are breaking the legislation.
“Staying in the backpack does not bring all the benefits for learning and the attention of students because they can try to see a message, an update, as they are close to the cell phone,” the deputy tells the deputy Estadão.
“The law explicitly speaks that it needs to be in a place with no possibility of access. The backpack is clearly an affordable place, ”says Marina, who is the author of the State Law on the subject, sanctioned by Governor Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicans) in December.
Already the State Department of Education told the newspaper that it invests in awareness and “initially” the storage of cell phones in the state network would be done in backpacks.
