A recent study by Yougov to Tui reveals that the Germans feel, on average, 4.2 years younger after the holidays.
The inquiry was made at the end of last year with more than 2,000 Germans.
37% feel more relaxed and younger after the holidays. 22% say their holidays make them feel up to 5 years younger, 15% report an even greater sense of rejuvenation, more than 5 years younger.
In addition to these data, a study conducted in Australia shows that traveling improves mood and may even slow the signs of aging, reinforces the statement sent to ZAP.
TUI’s study shows that what contributes most to the well-being during the Germans’ holidays are: activities AR BOOK (85%), moments of relaxation e Self -care (79%), time with the family e friends (75%) e hang from work (72%).
It is a trend that comes to Portugal. According to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE), the Portuguese traveling have increasingly sought nature and disconnect. Travelers also give a lot of importance to: physical activity, social interaction and exposure to new environments.
“In short, the body’s self-defense system becomes stronger. Traveling is not just leisure: it also contributes significantly to physical and mental health, ”explains Fangli Hu, director of the study.
