The ministers presented the 25 priority guidelines of the Lula administration in Congress

The ministers presented those of the government in Congress. Last week, Haddad and Padilha with that of the House, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), to present the same proposals.

Here’s the priorities:
- IR exemption – Tax reform of income with exemption for those who earn up to R $ 5,000 and tax on the top of income. The government’s intention was compensation through the taxation of people who receive more than R $ 50,000 monthly;
- Credit market – Operationalization of the payroll through the eSocial platform;
- big techs – Economic regulation of technology giants;
- remedies – Modernization of the legal framework of drug prices;
- Sick – Student permission to invest in savings or National Treasury titles.
