A primary school teacher in Tedžon, South Korea, stabbed one of her pupils on Monday. On Tuesday she confessed to the crime, the local police said. She returned to school only three days before the incident, since she was incapable of work since December because of depression, TASR writes based on Jonhap report.
The teacher in her forties admitted on Tuesday that the day before at school she had stabbed an eight -year pupil. She told the police that she first waited for the pupils to leave the class in which she tutored them after school. “I told the last child that I would give him a book, and I took it with me into the audiovisual room where I strangled her and stabbed,“She told the police. The girl suffered massive bleeding and declared him dead.
After the act, the teacher planned to commit suicide and also caused stab injuries from which she is currently recovering in the hospital. Police reported that she was treated for depression as early as 2018.
She recently applied for a six -month leave for incapacity for work, which started to run at the beginning of last December. She told the police that she thought of suicide during the PN, which she had finished prematurely for unrequited reasons. In the past, it also showed signs of aggressive behavior and attacked another teacher a few days ago. However, the school did not report this case to the police.
