In Croatia on Tuesday evening, they recorded an earthquake with magnitude 4.8. The epicenter of the shocks was located 15 kilometers from the village of Starigrad Paklenica near the west coast of the country. The local authorities immediately reported no damage or victims, TASR writes according to reports of HINA and AFP.

The earthquake occurred at 18.43 HV of the popular tourist area in the Zadar County. However, the shocks could also be felt in neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In 2020, Croatia hit a fatal earthquake that died seven people. As a result, hundreds of persons have been displaced and serious material damage has also been reported, AFP recalls.
