Mediators fear a collapse of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, two Egyptian security sources said on Monday, after Hamas announced a postponement of the next hostage release wave.
Hamas negotiators said US guarantees for ceasefire were no longer in force due to the Gaza Strip.
Mediators postponed the negotiations until a clear indication of Washington’s intention to continue the agreement was received.
Israel Katz, Israeli’s defense minister, said he instructed the military to prepare in the Gaza range after Hamas suspended the release of hostages provided for in the ceasefire agreement.
Hamas’s armed arm that was planned for Saturday (15) to a new warning, according to a statement by the group’s spokesman on Telegram.
The radical group accused Israel of breaking points in the ceasefire agreement to the Gaza Strip, including “delaying the return of people who are displaced north of Gaza, lick them with bombing and shots in various areas of the track and not allowing entry to enter of humanitarian aid in all its agreed forms ”.
