The political strategist admitted to deceived donors to a private organization that claimed to be funding a wall along the southern border of the United States with Mexico

This fence is an old promise of Trump.
Bannon, 71, was indicted by the Federal Court in this case, but received a trump pardon shortly before leaving the White House in 2021. Trump’s former advisor was one of the spokesmen of the unproven accusations of alleged fraud during The 2020 presidential election to help Democrat Joe Biden win, theories that still circulate among some conservative American sectors.
In October 2022, he was sentenced to four months in prison for refusing to cooperate with the parliamentary investigation about the attack on the Capitol – headquarters of Congress – on January 6, 2021 by hundreds of Trump supporters. He served this sentence in prison and was released in late October 2024 amid the campaign for the last presidential elections.
