He killed five people, including members of the Taliban security forces and injured seven more.

A suicide attacker fired on Tuesday in front of a bank in Kunduz in the province of the same province in the north of Afghanistan. This was announced by the police, informs TASR, according to AFP report.

The target of the attack was a crowd of people waiting before the bank to pay wages. The attacker was wearing an improvised explosive device that he also detonated. According to the police, he killed civilians, civil servants and members of the Taliban Security forces.

No terrorist organization did not immediately sign up for the attack for the attack. The police reported that it was cooperating with the competent authorities to clarify the case in order to catch up and punish other possible offenders.

AFP recalls that last year in March, a suicide striker killed at least three people when he detonated in front of a bank in Kandahar in the south of Afghanistan. The local branch of the terrorist organization of the Islamic State (IS) entered this attack.

Since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan in August 2021, deposed a government supported by the US, the number of bombings, including suicide, has fallen significantly. However, several armed groups, including IS, are still active in the country, which also resort to bombings.
