The International Space Station (EEI) has toast us with breathing images. This time, the astronauts on board captured an aurora to illuminate the skies of Canada, accompanied by a spectacular sunset on the earth’s horizon.
The video, recorded on January 4, 2024, was shared by EEI on social networks and shows the beauty of the phenomenon seen at about 400 km altitude. The dance of green and blue lights is perfectly combined with the last rays of sun, creating a truly unique scenario.
The space station on Jan. 4 soared into a stunning aurora dancing over Canada with city lights dotting the landscape below before orbiting into a sunrise 259 miles above the Atlantic Ocean.
