Washington-the US sanctions against the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, are in force. Khan is the first goal of the sanction ordered by US President Donald Trump against the court. The Briton is named in an appendix to one signed by Trump last week. Among other things, the sanctions provide for freezing US assets and entry bans in the United States. Trump justified the step with the fact that the court had “abused its power” by requesting an arrest warrant against Israel’s head of government Benjamin Netanyahu for suspected war crimes in the Gaza War.
