Apple has partnered with the e -commerce company Alibaba to bring artificial intelligence services to its devices in China.
Apple and Alibaba have already submitted the resources of Chinese Ia who developed together for approval of the China Cyberspace regulator, according to the Information.
Apple previously worked with Baidu, but was dissatisfied with the AI models that the Chinese search giant had developed for Apple Intelligence, said the Information. Apple also considered AI models from Chinese Tencent, Bytedance and DeepSek, the report said.
Apple’s iPhone sales have been weak in China recently, in part because Apple Intelligence has not yet been implemented in the Asian country. This factor weighed on the results and tax projections of the first quarter of Apple last month. Apple says it plans to introduce AI resources into non -English -speaking markets, including China in April.
In the NY stock exchange, Apple’s shares rose 2.2%.
