Byd integrates deepseek in 21 vehicle models

Technology promises to improve smart direction and make autonomous direction accessible on models like Dolphin Mini

It announced it on Monday (10.FEV.2025) the implementation of Deepseek Artificial Intelligence Technology in 21 models of its vehicles. Innovation, designed to improve smart steering systems, will be integrated into even more affordable models to democratize autonomous direction.

Deepseek technology, part of the assisted steering system “God’s Eye”It promises to increase the safety and efficiency of cars, introducing features such as remote parking and autonomous highway navigation, previously available only on luxury models.

Among the models that will receive the new technology is Dolphin Mini, the brand’s most affordable electric vehicle in Brazil, with a starting price of R $ 118,800. For input vehicles such as Dolphin Mini, Deepseek will include 12 cameras and 17 sensors, while upper models will have expanded capabilities, including a triple increase in data processing capacity.

Other Chinese automakers, such as Geely, GWM (Great Wall Motors) and Leapmotor, also announced AI Deepseek adoption on their vehicles, putting BYD in direct competition with Tesla, leader in the electric and autonomous car segment, especially in China.

Wang Chuanfu, founder of BYD, during an event broadcast live, highlighted the importance of technology, stating that “Autonomous direction is no longer rare and distant, it is a (…) tool necessary”. It predicts that technology will become as indispensable as seat belts or airbags.
