Have you ever heard of a “rescued Zakalec” snack? It’s nothing but a good jobi.e. chocolate balls, delightful with humidity and intense taste of cocoa with a delicate, slightly sticky consistency, melting in the mouth. They are a unique combination of flavors, because you never know what scraps of cakes we will find in them. We consider them a rescue for imperfect baking. Check how something really special can be created from “kitchen remnants”.
We will make goodies from Zakaliec fragile or biscuit. Many people also use crushed, butter cookies or biscuits. Other ingredients can be slightly modified – these snacks are a real pearl of confectionery improvisation. However, we will focus on a specific recipe.
Ingredients:
- 200 g of Zakala;
- 70 ml of milk;
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa;
- 2 tablespoons of sugar;
- 1 tablespoon of butter;
- 1 tablespoon of alcohol;
- 80 g of jam, jam or marmalade;
- 50 g of finely chopped, dark chocolate;
- 30 g of chopped walnuts;
- 20 g of chopped almond flakes;
- sprinkles – chopped nuts, almonds, coconut flakes, chocolate sprinkles.
Preparation:
At the beginning we crumble or terrify manually or in the blender in Zakalec, while We cook milk, butter, sugar and cocoa on low heat until the sweetener dissolves.
In the next step in a large bowl, mix: crushed cookies, chocolate mass, jam, alcohol, chocolate, nuts and almonds. If we think that the resulting mass is too dry, it is worth adding more milk to it.
From the prepared mass We start kneading the balls and coat each of them in the sprinkles. Bajaders should be stored in the fridge.
Zakalec can be used instead of biscuits. Just crumble it into small pieces and combine with a mass based on mascarpone, pudding or homogenised cheese. Such a dessert can be translated in layers, adding fruit and jelly, creating a tasty lame.
Another proposal is to soak such unsuccessful punch. Thanks to this, the dough will become wet and more aromatic, and after adding a cream or whipped cream, it can resemble a biscuit dessert. It can also be cut into cubes and add to a tiramisu dessert.
We also recommend making croutons from Zakaliec. Just cut it into thin slices and dry it in the oven or in a pan. They will then become crunchy. Such small snacks will be perfect for creams or salads, especially if we sprinkle with herbs and spices.
