According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt “hopes in cooperation” with Trump’s administration in this matter.

Egypt plans to “introduce a comprehensive vision of the Gaza band renewal,” which will ensure that the Palestinians will be able to stay on their territory, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said at night, TASR writes, according to the AFP report.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry responded to the words of US President Donald Trump, who had stated the day before that he could “imagine” stopping the aid of Jordan and Egypt if both countries do not cooperate in the implementation of its plan to occupy the Gaza zone and relocated its inhabitants to their territory.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt “hopes” in cooperation with Trump’s administration in this matter in order to “achieve a fair solution to the Palestinian issue”.

Last week, Trump proposed the displacement of the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and the rebuilding of this Palestinian enclave to the “Riviera of the Middle East”. His proposal triggered outrage across the international community.

The US President on Tuesday in the White House received King Abdallah II. King Trump announced the performance of the plan by Egypt and the intention of Arab leaders to discuss this plan.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs refused “any compromise” on Monday to violate the rights of the Palestinians, including their right to “stay in the territory”. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry informed about this in a statement issued shortly after the meeting of the Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdalatít with his American counterpart Marc Rubius in Washington.
