BRASILIA (REUTERS)-Embraer’s executive () President Francisco Gomes Neto said on Wednesday that the aircraft manufacturer intends to make new investments of around R $ 20 billion in Brazil by 2030 to raise its aircraft production and develop new products.
“I would like to take this opportunity to share firsthand that Embraer intends to make new investments in Brazil in the order of $ 20 billion by 2030,” said the executive during a ceremony in Brasilia on the Nova Indústria Brasil program alongside President Luiz Ignatius Lula da Silva.
“This amount will be intended to meet the increase in aircraft production and the development of new products, such as Evtool electric aircraft, our flying cars, which will be manufactured in Brazil by Eve, Embraer Group company,” he added.

Gomes Neto said he was “quite optimistic about the future” in the various segments in which the aircraft manufacturer operates.
