The Judicial Police (PJ) has detained, on Tuesday, a man in the quarter zone for the crime of minors pornography after communication from an international organization.
In a statement, the Southern PJ Board of Directors said that, within the scope of an investigation, a home search was performed, which culminated in the detention of the 27 -year -old suspect, and several mobile phones and computers were seized.
“After conducting computer research to the various equipment, multiple video files and images containing minors were identified, in which children participate in explicit sexual acts with adults,” reads the note.
The suspicion that part of this material may have been shared with non -identified third parties, now going to proceed with the investigation to identify other suspects.
The detainee will be present this Wednesday to the judicial authorities for first judicial interrogation and application of coercion measures.
The investigation is held by the Department of Research and Criminal Action (DIAP) of Loulé.
