In Europe, the basic mood compared to Trump 2.0 is characterized by pessimism. This was the result of a new survey by the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) in the EU countries Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, France, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, Romania and Spain as well as in the UK, Switzerland and Ukraine. This negativity alone and distrust of US President Donald Trump’s policy will not shield Europe from the consequences of the “trumpization” of Washington.
