Japanese firefighters in the sewer pipe appeared a cabin of a truck, which, even with the driver, fell into a suddenly formed overflow, about two weeks ago. According to the authorities, the body could also be a still missing 74-year-old driver. TASR reports according to AFP.
At the Jašio crossroads near Tokia, the Earth suddenly fell on the morning of January 28 during the morning tip. The overflow later expanded to a width of approximately 40 meters and a depth of 15 meters. The driver who stuck with the vehicle in the overflow was communicated with the rescuers for several hours, but the instead of the slump was too unstable and the rescuers had to withdraw.
Experts after analysis of photographs taken by underground drone discovered a cabin of a truck. It cannot be ruled out that there is probably a human body inside, the representative of the local fire brigade said.
According to him, rescuers could not get into the pipe with a diameter of almost five meters due to the flow of water and high levels of poisonous gases. In order to stop the water flow, it is necessary to build a temporary bypass pipe, which takes approximately three months. Until then, rescuers have to wait until they get into the cabin of the truck.
Meanwhile, they have built a ramp in the overflows to remove mud and rubble using heavy technology. A large amount of waste water also appeared, which, combined with rain, stopped the rescue operation inside the pit. Instead, rescuers focus on the sewer oven, where the truck cabin was observed.
