The Alcoutim City Council approved, this Wednesday, at a meeting of the Executive, the signing of a protocol with the Alcoutim Sports Group (GDA), attributing to the institution a financial reimbursement in the amount of 33,500 euros.
“The money is intended to face the institution’s activity plan for the current year, which will highlight the 3rd edition of Alcoutim Off Road, the 8th old moped tour, the 3rd edition of the Guadiana International Cup and VI Real Falcon Trail ”, explains the Alcoutim Chamber.
The municipality also underlines “the excellent results obtained by GDA athletes, especially in canoeing and trail running modalities, which have placed the municipality’s name on the podium at national level.”
In addition to the sports impact, the Chamber highlights the role of GDA in promoting healthy lifestyle and in the occupation of free time of younger people, encouraging a more active and participatory community.
A recognizes the meritorious work developed by the Alcoutim Sports Group in promoting sports and reinforcing the well-being and quality of life of the local population.
