The discussion about research authorization is totally contradictory with the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which the country will host in November, says climatologist Carlos Nobre.
This Wednesday (12), the president (PT) criticized the (Brazilian Institute of Renewable Natural Resources) for studying the technical and economic viability of oil exploration in the mouth of the Amazon.
Nobre recalls that Lula himself, in, proposed to developed countries and that this requires that there is no new oil exploration anywhere in the world.

In addition, he argues, the discussion of authorizing research to study technique and economic viability of oil exploration at the mouth of Amazonas conflicts with COP30 that Belém will host in November.
