Deputy Glauber Braga (PSOL) was heard on Thursday (13.FEV.2025) by the PF (Federal Police) in relation to the investigation that investigates suspicions of irregularities in the destination of the House of Representatives Commission amendments.

Glauber Braga said he was questioned by the PF for being the chairman of the participatory legislation committee. He said the investigation has the potential to go beyond the suspension of amendments at the end of 2024 and investigate amendments that “They have no transparency in their execution”.

The deputy believes that the police have to hear the former mayor of the House of Representatives (PP-AL). According to him, the former president of Casa Baixa was the one who “Articulated” the list of the amendments investigated.

AMENDAS NOVEL

Congressmen’s amendments have been the target of a series of decisions by Flávio Dino since August, which culminated in the suspension of imposing amendments, whose payment is mandatory by the government. The minister’s actions caused a tension between the three powers, until, on August 20, representatives of the Planalto, the STF and the Congress And they reached an agreement on the imposing amendments. It was agreed that the release should be performed following transparency and traceability criteria.

At the time, the Court gave 10 days for the Executive and Congress to disclose the new rules.

The minister suspended the payment of R $ 4.2 billion in parliamentary amendments on December 23. The decision was motivated by an action filed by PSOL that cites irregularities in the destination of the amount of commission amendments. The minister had also determined that the PF (Federal Police) would establish an investigative inquiry.
