The crucial question today will be what role and whether the European Union (EU) will play at all in the process of establishing peace in Ukraine. This was stated by President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini, who will travel to Munich on Friday (14 February), where he will participate in the 61st Munich Security Conference.
The forum program will be dedicated to global security challenges. Munich will thus become the place of diplomatic initiatives aimed at solving the most urgent problems of world security for the coming days, due to the current events in Ukraine. According to the office, world leaders will discuss transatlantic relations, international order and regional conflicts. “Multilateral policy has changed to pursue the harsh national interests of the great powers in terms of BER or not. The EU is facing an urgent question of how to stand to Ukraine under what conditions the peace will be agreed and I also want to get to know what the idea of US policy in Relationship to Europe in the sphere of security and economic cooperation, ” The President of the Slovak Republic said.
As he added, according to public information at the conference He also expects the US Vice President of JD Vance and the US Secretary of State Marc Rubia. Therefore, in his words, he believes that they will learn in more detail about their imagination of the end of the war in Ukraine.
