Since the date of the crime, 26 suspects have been arrested. Among them, 17 military police, five civil police and four people suspected of relationship with Kauê Amaral Coelho, named as a member of the criminal faction and who would have acted as a “scout” on the day. He is still on the run. SSP offers $ 50,000 for information about it.
Earlier this month, a delegate quoted in the investigations was searching. He would have received periodic payments with money from police corruption in favor of the faction.

In late January, the São Paulo State Military Police Office indicated military police arrested on suspicion of participation in the murder. In total, 17 PMs have been arrested since January 16 this year.

Gritzbach was at the center of one of the largest investigations done to this day about the money laundering of the CCP in Sao Paulo, involving faction business in the Tatuapé region, eastern São Paulo.
