Schieder: “Every government must cooperate closely with the EU Commission”

After the end of the coalition negotiations by FPÖ and ÖVP, which failed primarily due to the country’s future European politics, the central question again arises as to which course a future government will take with regard to EU membership and international obligations. In particular, the avert an EU procedure due to an excessive budget deficit by the EU Commission would be urgent.
