A team from the National Health System (SUS) Force arrived in Acre to give a workshop on “integrated strategies for the organization of the dengue care network and clinical management”.

The event takes place this Thursday (13), in the auditorium of the Rio Branco Emergency Room, and is attended by the Secretary of State for Health (Sesacre), Pedro Pascoal, and the Municipal Secretary of Health (Semsa), Renan Biths.
The group is being led by Maria da Conceição Costa, who is a nurse of SUS National Force.

“The Ministry of Health has one team here and another in Cruzeiro do Sul, so that we can provide the organization of the entire health care network, where the patient with suspected dengue can be treated without fragmentation. We want to share responsibility for this patient. The patient is from SUS, not from the state, and is not from the municipality. Our goal here is zero mortality for dengue, what we are already doing in other states, ”said Maria da Conceição.
The workshop is part of the National Contingency Plan for Arbovirus Prevention and Control, focusing on diseases such as dengue, Zika and Chikungunya.
The training brings together professionals from strategic areas to improve service to the population.
“We want to organize this flow, the management and welcome of this patient, so that it does not even reach the severe condition of the disease. Let’s do whatever it takes to help Acre in combating arboviruses, ”he added.
Secretary Pedro Pascoal thanked the partnership and said the work is joint.
“Having the Ministry of Health here, through the National Force, shows that the work to combat arboviruses is joint, we are all holding hands. Sesacre is moving all efforts to ensure that all our patients have specialized and quality care, ”he said.
