American President announced that Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, will re -establish ‘the administration of foreign relations to ensure the faithful and effective implementation of the foreign policy agenda’
The president of the United States, ordered last Wednesday (12) the “reform” of the country’s diplomatic corps to restrict any disagreement about its policies, while continuing with its profound revision of the federal government. With an executive order, Trump announced that the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, “will reform foreign service and the administration of foreign relations to ensure the faithful and effective implementation of the president’s foreign policy agenda.”
The Republican recalled that each employee of the state department related to American foreign policy is “under the direction and authority of the president.” With the title “A Voice for Foreign Affairs of the United States”, the order warns that its non -compliance “is a source of disciplinary lack, including removal” from office.
The measure affects almost 80,000 state department employees worldwide, including career diplomats and thousands of civilians. In just one month in office, Trump ordered the freezing of the US foreign aid, with some exceptions, and intends to dismantle the agency of for international development (USAID).
Trump, in collaboration with his main donor and ally Elon Musk, began a huge federal government reform, tracking public spending that he considers waste or not aligned with his policies, such as programs that promote diversity and equality.
