TASR informs about this, referring to the International Atomic Energy Agency (MAAE), which stated this on her account on the X.
“On the night of 13 to February 14, around 01.50 h, the Maae team in Chernobyl heard an explosion coming from the concrete cover, protecting the remnants of the reactor no. 4 The former is Chernobyl that caused a fire. He was informed that an unmanned plane crashed into it, ”wrote Maae.
The agency also said that there were firefighters with technology in place within a few minutes.
“At this point, there is no indication that there is a violation of the inner protective cover of the sarcophagus. The levels of radiation inside and outside are normal and stable, ”said Maae.
She added that the victims are not reported and continued to monitor the situation.
