Among the couples who married were Jorge Macedo and Porfila Huerta, 66 and 58, respectively, who pointed to Efe that they have a relationship for 35 years after having met at work “and as friends.” “I invite young people, it is not difficult to marry here, in Lima,” said an excited Macedo, while Huerta said they decided to formalize their relationship for their family and the daughter they have, “who is very happy.”
In turn, Jesús Ávalos and Lesly Flores, 30 and 23, respectively, said they have had a relationship for three years, have a one -year -old daughter and wait for a second baby. “It will sound very weird and fun, but we met playing video games in the pandemic, we couldn’t see each other,” Flores said with a laugh.
