Federal Deputy Afonso Afonso Motta (PDT-RS) denied on Thursday afternoon (13) any involvement in the case of misappropriation of parliamentary amendments for Ana Nery Hospital, in the municipality of Santa Cruz do Sul, which was the target of operation of the Federal Police.

The parliamentarian also signaled that he can exonerate his office advisor, who would be involved in the case, according to the PF investigation.

“At no time, of course, for now we haven’t had the opportunity to make a complete assessment, but at no time do I appear as investigated. But of course this does not diminish our concern for the circumstance, with our work, the form proceeding that we always had, “he said

The statements were made after the deputy met with the mayor, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB). Afonso Motta.

The deputy also added that the entire process of destination of amendments to the hospital in Santa Cruz do Sul were made within the rites of the Legislative House

“This I can guarantee absolutely, regardless of the investigation that is being done, that all procedures regarding these three amendments that are the object of the investigation were properly adopted and in a way to follow the rituals of the parliamentary amendments of the House,” stated.

This Thursday (13), the PF fulfilled 11 search and seizure warrants to investigate the possible deviation of parliamentary amendments for Ana Nery Hospital, in the municipality of Santa Cruz do Sul.

The lawsuit was authorized by the minister of (Supreme Federal Court), on the last day 4 and aimed amendments by Deputy Afonso Motta (PDT-RS) and the alleged participation of his parliamentary secretary Lino Rogerio in the scheme. The deputy’s advisory stated that he has not yet had access to the file and, therefore, does not know what the investigation is about.

Investigators say they found invoices who demonstrated that commissions were paid to a business intermediation company to capture amendments to the hospital.

According to the investigation, three payments were identified by the hospital for these services totaling R $ 509,400. It was also verified that 6% of the values ​​were passed on to an articulator, and another part was divided between hospital staff and the parliamentary secretary.
