‘Our partnership enables the installation of three training centers: Rondonópolis and, soon, Várzea Grande and Sinop,’ says Senai MT regional director, Carlos Braguini
With the growing demand for maintenance services, from light vehicles to the heaviest, (212 km south of Cuiabá), also known as the “Capital of the Heavy Wheel”, will, from 2025, have the training of 400 professionals per year at the automotive training center. This project will be expanded to Sinop (500 km to the north) and Várzea Grande in the coming months, with the availability of more than 30 professional qualification courses.
The training will be possible through a partnership of the Monaco Group with the National Service of Industrial Learning of Mato Grosso (Senai MT) and the Intermunicipal Union of Metallurgical, Mechanical and Electrical Material Industries of Rondonópolis and the southern region of Mato Grosso (Sindimec- South/MT). In the three training units for the automotive sector in Mato Grosso, will be invested R $ 9 million, with a contribution of R $ 4.8 million from the Monaco Group.
According to the Observatory of the Federation of Industries of (FIEMT), by 2023 the state had about 6,500 technical professionals in automotive and automotive mechanics, well below market demand. The lack of qualified labor in the sector is one of the problems faced not only by industry, but also by agribusiness, especially in the season of crop. “Mato Grosso is a state that grows above average and this demands a large amount of professionals, including the automotive sector.
And to serve this audience it is necessary to invest in training, which through this training center will provide high level service for the sector. This initiative is a partnership that everyone wins, with a return already in the short term, ”says Monaco Group CEO Rui Denardin.
“Our partnership enables the installation of three training centers: Rondonópolis and, soon, Várzea Grande and Sinop. The sum of these three centers means an increase in the number of people trained to pursue a career in the automotive sector and, for the productive sector, are more people available for projects, ”says Senai MT regional director Carlos Braguini.
Among the formations that are already available are professional qualifications as a mechanic of Light, heavy road vehicle mechanic, vehicular electrician, as well as improvement in diagnosis and repair of automotive embedded electronic systems, installation and maintenance of CNG systems, among others.
Entries can be made over the internet or in person at Senai in Rondonópolis. “This represents a lot of innovation, is the result of a search of over 10 years. We are the ‘capital of the heavy ride’ and we had no skilled labor. With this training center, we will be able to bring more young people to vocational training and train more mechanics to serve our market. It represents a very large step towards the development of our infrastructure, ”says Sindimc-Sul/MT president Marília Santos de Almeida.
The partnership, which is already in operation in Rondonópolis and will soon reach two more cities of Mato Grosso, can also be expanded to other regions. “We are already negotiating in states where Agro also begins to gain strength, such as Pará, Maranhão and Piauí, who are also living this increase in demand.”
